the yoga we practise
A well-balanced blend of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yoga Synergy. Yoga Synergy is a dynamic movement technique inspired by elements of Ashtanga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and physiotherapy-based exercises. In active ways we engage the whole body, in a fluid approach, mobilizing our joints and spine to ensure a safe and inclusive practice, while simultaneously strengthening our core. We move with a combination of gentleness and power, syncing our movements with our unique and natural breath rhythm. As we dive into the practice, we remain fully aware of our physical, mental, and emotional bodies, possibly challenging our existing beliefs about yoga and ourselves.

the food
Get ready for a week of tasty adventures! We’re serving up a mix of familiar and Sri Lankan-inspired vegan dishes to give you a feel of the local culture. Expect a colorful, sweet, and savory brunch after our morning practice.
If you need a little something before that, there’ll be tea and fresh fruit. During the day, we’ll take breaks for tea and snacks between activities.
Days come to an end with cozy candlelit vibes and themed dinners after our evening practice.

rooms and prices
The bedrooms at flowground are beautifully minimalistic and light. You can choose between sharing a room with one or two other person (twin or triple bedroom) or having a single room (double bed) for a higher rate.
All Rooms have A/C, hot water shower, en-suite bathrooms (except the courtyard room – it has a private bathroom direct next door).

Hey there! We’re Jonas and Jane, the duo behind flowground.
Our vision is simple: yoga is for everyone, and we’re thrilled to share it with you. Having explored various styles and teachings, we’ve crafted a unique approach that blends traditional wisdom with a modern twist. Our primary focus is Yoga Synergy – a dynamic movement technique inspired by elements of Ashtanga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and physiotherapy-based exercises. Our focus is on the well-being of our joints and spine allowing us to playfully explore our full range of motion.
We’re also enthusiasts of the traditional Ashtanga Yoga, its emphasis on personal alignment and the meditative beauty of the daily set sequence.
In the intimate setting of Mysore classes, we personally connect with students, tailoring instructions to their unique needs and progress. Witnessing our students grow, both physically and mentally, is how we learn and evolve as teachers.
To share and to get to know you one of the reasons why flowground exists – a space to practice, ground and grow in a beautifully balanced flow.
