Come join Jonas and Jane at @flowground for a morning Ashtanga Yoga self practice in our yoga shala surrounded by paddy fields in Ahangama.

We practice together but everyone at their own pace and according to their own level. All levels welcome.

* Guidance & Assistance
Jonas will offer some support and guidance, especially for those newer to the practice.

We handle all the details, ensuring you can relax and fully immerse in the retreat experience.

Our retreat home is perfect for smaller, intimate groups, to create deep connections and unforgettable experiences.
With 5 bedrooms accommodating up to 12 students, there’s room for everyone to feel at home. 🌴

And as we look ahead, who knows what adventures await? We’re already dreaming up plans to expand, adding more flexible accommodation options. Stay tuned for exciting updates!

Hey there, we're Jonas & Jane, and flowground means the world to us — it's not just some project; it's where our hearts are, our home, and it's here for you too. It's not just a place; think of it as an invite to be in nature, to connect, and just be. ∞

Fueled by our passion for creativity and yoga, flowground became a reality.
And now, after months of hard work, we're beyond excited to swing open our doors and welcome you to our island home — to become part of the flowground family! 〰️

Oh, and speaking of family, we recently welcomed Malu into our home, and he's become our first guest who never left. He's equal parts cuddly and playful, with a dash of feistiness thrown in for a good balance. We hope you'll adore him just as much as we do! 🙌🏽

We’re in Keraminiyawatta village, close to the Kandurugoda Buddhist temple. No worries, the temple speaker only chimes in during Poya days—the ceremonial full moons and holidays in Sri Lanka—like today!

On Poya days, the village comes alive with the gentle hum of spirituality. It’s a reminder of the deep-rooted traditions and values that make Sri Lanka truly unique. 🙏🏽
The neighborhood gathers at the temple to partake in rituals like offering flowers, lighting candles, and sending prayers into the ether. Sometimes, we join these special events, which bring us closer to our neighbors and the community in our village.

If you’re ever at Flowground during Poya Day, feel free to join us. It’s a beautiful experience of unity and tradition, a special memory ✨
